While we work on our debut album, Songs about November, we may put out an EP called “A Film of Yesterday (or, How to Dream Sideways)”.
It would contain about 5 songs and sell for $5. People coming to our shows—would you want to buy one? The main reason we would do this would be to have some form of recording at our shows before the album is done. Worth it?

It seems like only yesterday I was a just a kid in my early teens writing down lyrics a sheet of paper, and hitting sour notes on the harmonica trying to be just like my hero, Johnny Cash. Now at only seventeen I am the harmonica player for Miles From Nashville, a band that has actual gigs, and records in a real-life studio. I would to thank everyone who has helped me make it this far. First off I thank god, because without him I would NOT be able to do all I can today. I would like to thank Charlie for giving me the chance to waffle my dream.I would like to thank ALL my friends, and family for believing in me. I would like to thank our fans, because without them I would have no reason to do what I do. In other words I owe it all to you, and if you have any ideas, or comments just comment below this blog. I will be glad to read them.

Hello,
it’s Charlie Wolf. Do you know why my name is in bold? Because I’m awesome. That’s why.
Your name doesn’t get to be in bold.
You know why? Because I’m awesome. That’s why.
MILES FROM NASHVILLE may play some LA dates in July/August so make sure you have NO plans whatsoever for that entire two-month period until we announce which dates. It will more than likely be a 9.5-hour show, as our last show was in March and we keep hearing songs and saying “We should do that at our next show…”.
In other news, somewhere between 50% and 100% of Miles from Nashville will be at the following concerts:
AMANDA PALMER - June 25
ERIC CLAPTON - June 30
COUNTING CROWS - July 21
COLIN HAY of MEN AT WORK - July 26
THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS - November 14
OUR OWN SHOWS, OBVIOUSLY - July/August
Also, we have a new drummer who will be joining us on our album and most likely at shows.
He looks like this:

We also have a new Lord and saviour, who will be joining us for a few songs:

In other news, I plan on starting a taco truck to pay for college.
Don’t ask how that makes sense.
Yours both cordially and awesomely*,
Charlie
